An absolutely superb album which has a sparse minimal / techno feel at times with great variety in rhythmic sounds. There's often a driving kick rhythm but also processed kick sounds, contrasting against syncopated hats. There are some excellent and unusual synth sounds - great layering of these and sparse use works really well. I also like the dark ambience in some of the songs which creates an excellent texture / contrast.

This is an excellent album, there’s a great attention to detail with some very well crafted sounds which are layered really well. There’s great percussive sounds, some of which sound like struck items and great synth sounds too including great arps which create intricate rhythms. Some of the songs have an ambience which contrasts really well against synth sounds or more metallic sounding percussion.

This is a superb collection of jazz inflected improvisation and sonic exploration. Each track feels very personal, and several ("Keyless Entry", "Mellow Fellow") exhibit the author's unique sense of humor and appreciation for the sound of language as well as sound itself. While there is a substantial amount of linear driven narrative, this record really exposes a keen sonic sensibility, most obvious in a tune like "Izzy and Tapper".
